“The birth of a child is celebrated, announced, even photographed-
and rightly so! But the birth of a mother happens in quiet.
Often in the early morning, through worried thoughts and questions.
I believe it’s time we celebrate and honor that birth too.”
As your childbirth educator and postpartum doula, my hope is to provide you with the information and support you need to achieve the birth you want. Some families want to have their children at home and some families want some sort of pain medication during labor: guess what, that’s okay! I believe that knowledge of options, risks, benefits, and real expectations is what sets families up for success in labor and early postpartum. Let’s talk about how we can nurture your childbirth experience together!
My goal as your childbirth educator is to teach you the facts and inform you about all the options around childbirth and the postpartum period. Regardless of the type of birth you desire, I provide you with the information and assist you in making the birth plan that is right for you.
My true passion is nurturing those first weeks postpartum. Whether it be the first child or the fourth, the early postpartum time is filled with changes for everyone in the family. A postpartum doula eases these transitions by bringing skilled and helping hands to the forth trimester.
